What are my options?
Choosing health care coverage can be complicated and confusing. With Original Medicare (also know as Traditional Medicare), you have available to you: |
Part A – inpatient hospital care |
Part B – doctor visits and outpatient care |
In addition, there are many plan options that offer different parts of the total coverage available to you, including. |
- combine Medicare Parts A and B (hospital and medical coverage) into a single plan. These plans may also include additional benefits such as dental, vision and hearing coverage, as well as valuable discounts on a variety of health-related products and services. Some of these plans also integrate Medicare prescription drug coverage. |
- these plans "supplement" your Original Medicare coverage. These plans cover some services Medicare Parts A and B don't cover; may provide additional benefits as well, and are available for members, their families, and their clients. |
- plans that let you add Medicare prescription drug coverage to your existing Original Medicare Part A and/or Part B coverage. |
